Path of Exile 2 Gameplay

Path of Exile 2 takes place in the same world, Wreaclast, but with many newer additions. The next-generation RPG brings 12 character classes, 600 monsters, and 100 bosses. Some of the notable changes in the gameplay mechanics are the addition of Dodge Roll, Spirit, and Crowd Control. First, let’s see how Dodge Roll helps players. 

All players can access a dodge roll regardless of their classes, and there is no limitation to the use of this move. At the beginning of the move, players can avoid projectiles and other attacks. However, at the end of the animation, players become prone to attacks. 

The gameplay also provides ways to modify the dodge roll via a passive skill tree so players can use it strategically. A player should keep in mind that if their character is in any transformation, it will be removed while performing a dodge roll unless they find a way to prevent it from happening. 

Another notable inclusion in the game is Spirit. It allows players to keep their skills with constant effects. It means that players can keep their auras, buffs, permanent Minions, etc, active. 

The Spirit can be increased by defeating bosses, unlocking special abilities, and using gear such as scepters to boost the Spirit. There are a few other changes in death, combat, in-game currency features, and movements to let the players truly enjoy the game. Also, Path of Exile 2 new skill gems allow players to use any skill regardless of their class. 

Path of Exile 2 Characters 

There are 12 character classes with unique abilities and arsenal. You can upgrade your respective class to acquire more power and playstyle, known as Ascendancy. In PoE 2, characters share stats.

Path of Exile 2 is set for early access on December 6, 2024. While the full game’s release date is not yet announced, you can purchase the supporter packs via Steam for PC, PS5, and Xbox. The game was delayed almost three weeks, but now it’s just three days away. The early access comes in three supporter packs on Steam for PC players.
